Compere

Kevin Clapson – following his successful competitive career, including twice winning the All England Ballroom Championships, Kevin now enjoys teaching beginners to professionals. He is regularly invited to judge at competitions in the UK and internationally and wishes all the competitors at this year’s SUDC the best of luck.

Scrutineer

Estelle Grassby – is well known as the creator of the ‘Scrutelle’ software and has scrutineered at many University Circuit events, including IVDC 2009 and NUDC 2008. Competition results will quickly become available online through the Scrutelle website.

Judges – Modern, Latin, Team Match, Offbeat (7 in total)

The adjudicating panel will comprise five judges for all preliminary rounds in the open events and offbeat competition, and comprise seven judges for the semi-finals and finals of the open events and for all rounds of the team match.

Judges – Rock ‘n’ Roll (3 in total)

There are three Rock ‘n’ Roll judges coming to SUDA 2010 specifically to judge the Rock ‘n’ Roll events. Two of the Ballroom judges will join them to form a panel of five.

Adam Fincham – one of the few UK rock and rollers to successfully compete on the international stage. Adam was instrumental in popularising the modern style in the UK in the 90s.

Georgi Belov – two time Bulgarian B-class national champion.

Veronica Nista – achieved 3rd place at the 2008 Italian Championships and 2nd in 2009 for the non-acrobatic discipline. She was also placed 1st at the Italian Cup Jazz Dance and 2nd at the Royal Step Master Cup for the acrobatic discipline.
